LSG put up a solid total of 204, thanks to fiery fifties from Mitchell Marsh (60) and Aiden Markram (53). During the presentation, Rishabh Pant helped the young spinner Digvesh Rathi, who isn’t fluent in Hindi, by translating English questions into Hindi and then conveying Digvesh’s answers back to the commentators in English. This spontaneous moment had fans and viewers in splits!
Digvesh, who bowled impressively by giving just 21 runs in 4 overs and taking the crucial wicket of Naman Dhir, credited his inspiration to Sunil Narine. He revealed,
"Ever since I saw Sunil Narine bowl, I’ve started enjoying my own bowling. I want to become more aggressive like him, especially under pressure. He stays calm, and that’s something I’m working on."
He also added, "I enjoy my bowling and love taking wickets. Batters often try to attack me, and that gives me an edge."
Rishabh Pant praised Digvesh's performance, calling him one of the most impressive bowlers for LSG this season. He said,
"He’s been a key bowler for us. The way he handles pressure situations with such calmness is amazing. It’s great to see young talents step up on the big stage."
